Cheryl Zalieckas has over 23 years’ experience in occupational therapy working in acute care settings. Before relocating to New England and joining Benchmark, she served as the manager of rehabilitation services for the University of Maryland Medical Center where she was responsible for a large team of therapists serving patients.
Despite living in Maryland for the past 23 years, New England has always been home. I was born and raised in Shrewsbury, Mass., and all my family still lives here. When I was looking to use my background in healthcare to serve in a different way, it was important to me to align with a company that shares and lives my values.
In addition to being passionate about serving seniors, I also enjoy supporting infants! I’m a certified educator of infant massage and have authored and lectured on topics related to pediatric rehabilitation.
