Meet Your Executive Director:


Mia Criscuolo began as Hamden's director of community relations in 2016 and became executive director in 2019. She holds Benchmark's Beacon Award for Heroism, having rescued the wife of a resident who became trapped in her home outside the community following a tornado.
What Brought You to Benchmark:

I was working at a local partner of the community, an adult day center, and really came to appreciate the community and what it stood for.
Fun Fact:

I'm originally from Chicago and love rooting for the Chicago Bears. I also love traveling the world—experiencing different cultures, food and wine.
