Personalized Planning & Support: Not sure where to start with planning out your move? From finding movers to putting your home on the market, we can help put you in touch with professionals in the local community.
Real Estate Support: If you need help selling your or a loved one’s current home, we can make suggestions on local relators which may include a home visit from a licensed senior real estate professional in your area to help get the ball rolling.
Assistance With Paperwork: We know organizing and completing forms can be a tedious part of moving into a new home, so we can gladly help organize the documents that are required to move in to one of our communities, including insurance information, medical records, and personal belongings lists (to name just a few).
Flexible Move-In Dates: You choose when you move into one of our Benchmark communities. Instead of being limited to the beginning or end of the month, you tell us what date you’d like to move in, and we’ll be here, ready to greet you with a key to your new apartment.
Pre-Plan Your Floor Plan: To maximize your new living space and make it functional for your needs, use our community’s floor plan dimensions to configure how you’ll position and lay out your furniture. It helps to see it on paper, and that way, you can direct the movers to place furniture exactly where you want it to be.
Expert Movers: We have a partnership with WayForth, a moving solutions company with trained and certified Senior Move Managers. They even offer specific services dedicated to helping seniors transition to their new communities. In addition to packing and unpacking your cherished belongings, WayForth also offers services for downsizing, decluttering, having estate sales, auctioning, and more.
Furniture Delivery: Ask your community associates about coordinating furniture delivery before you or your loved one officially move into the apartment. Doing this ahead of time can reduce stress and make it easier to unpack when the big things are already in place.
Onsite Move-In Services: On your move-in day, our associates are available onsite to help coordinate with your moving company, assist with packing and unpacking, direct moving vehicles, and more.
Ongoing Housekeeping Support: After you arrive, we can imagine you’ll be unpacking and getting acclimated. The good news is, you can cross housekeeping chores and laundry off your to-do list, because our weekly housekeeping and laundry services are available to residents.
